Description
Central Texas Surgical Associates would like to recruit a practicing general/ACS/trauma surgeon to join a busy group of four surgeons at a Level II trauma facility in Round Rock and North Austin area in Texas. Job has potential to progress to Trauma Medical Director.
Incentive/Benefits Package:
Multiple options: including private practice model, salary comes from call pay and elective practice minus overhead vs employment with bonuses.

Requirements
Qualified Candidates:
Joining a well-established group with exclusive coverage of trauma and acute care surgery at a Level II ACS certified Trauma Center
Board certified/board eligible trauma/critical care surgeon or an experienced 3+ years general surgeon with extensive trauma experience preferred
Licensed in the state of Texas or ability to obtain
Robotically trained preferred
Position is for Trauma/ACS with option to add elective practice if desired.
Potential Trauma Medical Director opportunity
Fellowship trained welcomed, not required
Start Date: ASAP
Call: 1:5, 6- 24 shifts per month trauma/acute care surgery
Supervision and teaching as faculty at Texas A&M Health Science Center Medical School optional
