At PDS Optical, we are committed to delivering exceptional eyewear and outstanding service to our Veterans. We're seeking an experienced optician to join our team as a Travel Optician out of the Washington, DC VA and help us uphold our mission of providing GREAT Veteran CARE! 

The ideal candidate should be a self-motivated, experienced, and dependable individual with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position with regular hours from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday with travel outside of these hours. The pay range for this position is $26.00-$28.00 per hour.

Position Details: 

• Pay Range: $26-$28/hour 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Provide friendly, professional, and efficient service to Veterans. 
• Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction through exceptional service. 
• Work collaboratively to foster a positive and productive environment. 
• Comply with security clearance requirements by successfully passing a background check. 
• Travel to various locations as required without exception.
• Must be able to travel on Sundays

Qualifications: 

• Must have your ABO Certification
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting. 
• Skilled in fitting, adjusting, repairing, and selling eyewear. 
• Proficient in using lensometers, pupilometers, and computers. 
• Dependable, self-motivated, and customer-focused.
