Your Key Responsibilities

• Requirement Management: Develop and manage system requirements based on the stakeholder requirements. Evaluates, refines and develops requirements considering platform constraints, known state of the art, and domain standards.
  Identify and create/define requirements resulting from the architecture and from platform and integration needs.
• System Development: Coordinate, Manage and Develop a technical solution which meets the requirements (including analyses, evaluation, and mitigation of design risks).
• System Architecture: Define / identify concepts for implementing the architecture.
• Internal Communication: Exchange development-related information and collaborate with internal/external development partners for system elements (e.g., E/E, software, sub-systems, components), with production (e.g., special characteristics or producibility aspects)
• External Communication: Interface with customers regarding system aspects, including testing and failure analysis
• System integration: Support system integration and system integration testing to ensure compliance with system architecture.
• Verification and Validation: Support verification and validation at the system level including interfaces with other relevant functions.
• Reporting: Document and report on the development process, including progress, challenges, and solutions. Apply given system development processes.
• Calibration: Initiate calibration baseline and manage calibration data

Your Qualifications

• Deep understanding & Experience in:
  • Automotive (especially E-mobility) Business
  • Project Management
  • System Development
  • Customer Relationship development & management
  • Functional Safety and Cyber Security
  • Quality and process improvements
• Language: Fluent in both English and Japanese language
• Education: Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering
  Preferred background: Automotive. (Missing degree may be substitited by long-term experience in this work area.)
  TOEIC > 700 (not needed if the candidate has enough experience with English environment)
• Professional Experience: 'At least 4 years of experience in automotive field or relevant experience
  Experience interacting with customers
• Project and / or Process Experience: At least finished one project from Acquisition to Production launch successfully (as team member)
• Intercultural / International Experience: Should have worked in an internationally distributed engineering environments.
• (Preferred) Leadership Experience: Experience of working in a Functional Leadership role
