About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software engineering principles, a passion for clean code, and experience working in agile environments. This role involves full-cycle software development, including design, implementation, testing, and support for both new and existing products. This a full-time, hybrid work opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Software Development & Engineering
- Write clean, readable, and maintainable code following industry best practices and proven software engineering principles.
- Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, code refactoring, and the Single Responsibility Principle.
- Develop software primarily using C#/.NET in Visual Studio, with occasional use of VB.NET, Java, or Python.
- Create intuitive and consistent user interfaces (UI) and user experiences (UX) for desktop (Windows Forms/WPF) and mobile (.NET MAUI) applications.
- Agile & DevOps Practices
- Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and related technologies.
- Utilize Git for version control and adhere to prescribed branching strategies.
- Testing & Quality Assurance
- Perform software verification and validation, including unit testing and QA testing.
- Leverage AI technologies to enhance development speed and code quality.
- Embedded Systems & Hardware Integration (as applicable)
- May develop firmware using C/C++ for embedded hardware in collaboration with electrical engineers.
- May interface with measurement hardware (e.g., voltmeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators) to test and debug firmware and hardware.
- Incorporate design for manufacturability principles and contribute to product documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science and engineering or applicable engineering/science curriculum or 4 years' experience in engineering development.
- 0-2+ years of work experience in product design and development.
- Proven experience in software development using C#/.NET and Visual Studio.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, Git).
- Experience with embedded systems and hardware testing is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Competitive Salary: Salary expected to start around $85,000-$100,000+ and will be compensatory to one's qualifications and experience.
