Description:Flexible Assembler II - Kingsbury
Full-time/Part-time
EMC-R54/64-2
To accurately and expediently assemble subassembly level and/or finished products according to instructions provided by the Line Leader in the form of verbal, written, and/or diagram.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive shift assignments or regular duties via instruction from Line Leader.
- Accurately performs assembly of subassemblies and products in a safe and expeditious manner..
- Communicate production problems, within the scope of their assignments that would either affect the timely delivery or the expected quality of their work, to the Line Leader.
- Use a variety of power and hand tools such as screw/torque drivers, epoxy/glue dispensers, light bench-top machine operations, programming and calibration equipment to facilitate assembly/test.
- Demonstrate ability to correctly assemble, test and contribute in one or two product areas involving moderate operations.
- Maintain an effective dialogue with all employees to foster good employee morale.
- Organize work areas before, during and after assignments. Is responsible for general housekeeping and organization of workstations.
- Obtain solder certification
Key Performance Indicators (KPI's):
- Limit mistakes by reviewing quality of own work and following instructions
- Meet production Takt time or expected pieces per hour per Manufacturing Order
- Achieve Safety objective for the plant
Required Skills / Experience / Equipment Operation:
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Must be a US citizen or have authorization to work in the US issued by the Department of Homeland Security.
- Minimum of 3 months of service.
Physical/Mental Essential Functions:
- Able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time
- Able to read/speak in English and follow verbal/written instructions
- Able to count and sort
- Able to interact/communicate with respect of fellow co-workers and management
- Able to push/pull and reach above shoulders
- Able to control operation of hand and/or foot
- Able to turn wrist frequently in a repetitive motion
- Able to lift/carry up to 10 pounds
