Your new role
As the Financial Administration Manager, you will be responsible for the preparation and oversight of all financial accounting information. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will lead a team managing accounts payable, receivable, tax compliance, financial reporting, and relationships with financial institutions. Key responsibilities:

• Lead all financial accounting activities, including implementing process improvements.
• Ensure tax compliance, including GST, BAS, FBT, Income Tax, and Transfer Pricing reporting.
• Oversee revenue recognition in line with IFRS15.
• Manage monthly and yearly financial period end processes (payroll, PAYG, superannuation, reconciliations).
• Oversee daily bank reconciliations and weekly cash management.
• Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable functions, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Prepare year-end financial statements and coordinate external audits.
• Assist with submission of labour rates for Forward Rates Agreement approval.
• Update the Finance Risk Register monthly.
• Manage accounting periods in SAP and provide financial reporting to stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business (majoring in Accounting or Finance), or equivalent.
• CPA or CA (ANZ)
• Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards, IFRS, and GAAP.
• Hands-on SAP experience.
• Excellent relationship management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to promote a positive, high-performance culture.
• Must be an AU Citizen, eligible for Baseline security clearance.
