Position Summary - this position is responsible for managing the development and implementation of the strategies to grow our distribution business in North America.
Responsibilities
- Build influential relationships with senior leadership at our distribution partners
- Develops and drives growth strategies for new and existing product portfolio
- Monitors competitive market intelligence and trends to modify strategy
- Coordinates activities with Product Management and Pricing teams to maximize product line growth with assigned distributors
- Partners with marketing team to develop and implement strategic marketing campaigns
- Partners with Regional Sales Managers to develop and drive regional distribution growth sales plans
- Analyzes sales trends to maximize customer reach, inventory requirements and growth opportunities
- Develops and executes a consistent QBR process with our top 4 distribution parts, and an ABR with the balance
- Develops and executes a process for maintaining excellent distributor scorecard performance
- Performs a monthly review of the channel for internal stakeholders, including POS and Distributor booking growth vs peers and across the electronics industry
Qualifications
- Ability to travel an estimated 25% as required to support distributors
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Management or technical degree preferred
- 10-15 years of electronic components manufacturer or distribution experience
- Ability to lead and problem solve in unstructured environments
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs or projects
