Responsibilities

This opportunity is with JBT Marles's Fresh Produce Technologies division. We supply products and services to fresh fruit and vegetable packers to ensure these valuable crops arrive in a fresh and appealing condition to the consumer.

TheBlender  is a valuable ally to fresh produce packers, and an important part of the team that is helping bring fresh, healthy fruits and vegetables to the world's table.

On a given day, you may:

• Weigh and add ingredients to kettles (Liquid & Dry Raw Materials) for each batch of product according to the product formulation.
• Must be comfortable working with large machinery, boilers, kettles, mixers, burners, and drums/pallets of a variety of chemicals
• Accurately and neatly complete required batch sheet/work-order documentation.
• Maintain Equipment, Pumps, Motors, Valves ETC in good working condition by proper storge, sanitizing and minor maintenance as required.
• Follow all GMP, SOP and Food Safety (SQF) Production guidelines.
• Collect new product samples and perform initial QC product testing to ensure product meets established QC parameters.

Requirements for the role

 

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Mechanical ability 
  Chemical blending experience 
• Field packing house experience
• Familiarity with JBT products

Travel & Location

• You will be based at JBT Marel, in Riverside, CA

Compensation Range:

$25.00 hr- $35.00 hr. Compensation is determined on experience and skill. This job description is a general description of essential job functions.
